Student Injury:
On April 21, a student twisted his or her ankle while playing basketball in the Fieldhouse.
Theft:
On April 24, a vehicle was stolen from in front of the History of Pop Culture Theme House on Lola Lane between 1 and 9 a.m. The vehicle was described as a light blue ‘97 Honda Civic with Oregon plates VZX 205. No evidence was left and there are currently no suspects or leads. Anyone with information on this crime should call the security office at 509-777-4444.
Trespass:
On April 25, three juveniles trespassed in the facilities services parking lot between 1:40 and 1:55 a.m. and set off firecrackers. No damage has been reported.
Theft:
A student’s guitar was stolen from the hallway outside the dining hall during the first week of April.On April 15, an unlocked bike was stolen from outside Akili. It was later found or returned.
Other:
On April 17, a suspicious man was seen speaking to students inside and outside the library. The man, who appeared to be in his 30s, was reported to have been asking students odd questions.
Student Injury:
-On March 20, a student separated his or her shoulder upon jumping into the pool in the Aquatic Center.
Harrassment:
-On April 5, off-campus road rage involving a Whitworth parent and an unknown suspect ended in the Hawthorne Hall parking lot.
Vandalism:
-On April 6, the window of a car parked in the Baldwin-Jenkins Hall parking lot was broken by a BB.
Other:
-On March 13, a student in Baldwin-Jenkins prank called another student.
Hit and Run:
-On March 8, a parked car’s side mirror was damaged in a hit and run accident outside the Fieldhouse. There are no suspects.
Trespass:
-On Feb. 28, unknown students climbed the Aquatics Center, leaving spike holes in the roof.
-On Feb. 29, a student entered Graves Gym after hours to lift weights.
Vandalism:
-On March 6, a large window in Baldwin-Jenkins Hall was broken by an unknown suspect.
Employee Injury:
-On Feb. 18, An employee slipped and fell on the ice outside the library.
Theft:
- On Jan. 13, $35 in cash was stolen from an unlocked room in Arend.
- On Jan. 15, a wallet was stolen from an unlocked room in Arend.
Trespass:
- On Feb. 6, a student who was suspended and ejected from Whitworth trespassed on campus. The student was reported in Arend and in Stewart, where they were believed to have been smoking marijuana.
Towing:
- On Feb. 17, 11 cars were towed from the HUB parking lot so that snow removal could take place.
